Easter Sunday Sun Rise Services
We first
put up the Easter crosses in 2002. At that time the park-like settings
just across the “Jordan River” was sometimes referred to as “The Park on
Cannan.” It is such a beautiful setting with the towering oaks bending
in an arch like cathedral. We thought it would be a wonderful place for
an Easter display. So in 2002 we had our first Sunrise Service.
There were six in attendance at that first service and has grown to
almost 200 at one service. Many have stopped at the display to pray and
have their devotions or meditation. What a wonderful blessing it is to
feel Gods presence for all who bow at the “foot of the Cross”.

In the Year 2021 we had out door church because of the covid
out brake, Most everyone enjoyed the change and it was a way to come to
the service in our golf carts or cars, Some just brought there chairs
and setup to enjoy the service and still comply with social distancing.
